Our Products
The uniqueness of Verger Pierre Gingras' products
Cider vinegar from Verger Pierre Gingras is a true handcrafted cider vinegar. The uniqueness of our product comes from the use of four varieties of only healthy non-genetically modified apples picked directly from the tree, its two years fermentation process with the mother vinegar in oak barrels from France, our French method of extraction and our rigorous quality control. These give to our cider vinegar its unique and distinctive flavor, sublime aroma, pure color as well as its full nutritional values and therapeutic properties. Our products are made in Rougemont, one of the most renowned apple growing areas in the province of Quebec, Canada.
What health benefits do real handcrafted cider vinegar provides?
There are at least 300 internal human system function improvements due to real handcrafted cider vinegar. The most recognized ones are: toxins cleansing, uric acid and bad cholesterol reduction, elimination of calcareous deposits (kidney, liver stones and joints), kidney and liver cleansing, blood purifying (improvement of blood pressure), favors pH balance and a better digestive process, to name a few. Real cider vinegar is also used externally in cases of minor burns, eczema, psoriasis and, to treat dandruff, for instance. Our Natural Handcrafted Cider Vinegar
Products Comparison
Competitors
Their cider vinegars are made from mixed apples and, of inferior quality such as, for example, declassified or fallen apples (as evidenced by their earthy taste and their quick aging). Another clue on the use of these kinds of apples: the color of the cider vinegar will be particularly dark (almost the color of raw apple juice).
The origin of our product
- Made exclusively from raw apple juice (4 selective kinds of apples are used all taken directly from the branches, never from the ground).
Competitors
This is usually an industrial-type process. Chemicals and preservatives used are unknown. Even though very few cider vinegars are using an artisanal-type process, their products are aged too rapidly (less than a year) and, consequently, the quantities of enzymes are much less as evidenced by their much-pronounced taste. In the industrial-type process, the production costs are much lower by allowing the product to ferment only one week, which turn over the product so quickly that the mother vinegar does not have time to develop.
An artisanal production
- Our process is artisanal within an ecological environment (minimum orchard spraying) where at the end of the fermentation process there are no chemical residues (proven by a laboratory analysis) due to the action of the mother vinegar. The product ferment in thirty-six oak vats for more than two years allowing the mother vinegar to fully develop enzymes that nourish the product.
Competitors
Fabrication in stainless steel or plastic (nylon) reservoirs usually. Very few cider vinegars are fabricated in wooden vats (sometimes in cypress, rarely in oak).
The fermentation of our product
- The oak vats are under strict temperature, atmospheric pressure, oxygen and humidity controls. The use of oak vats from France (the same one used for the production of champagne and cognac) give to the product its unique aroma and its natural color as well as the full nutritional values and contents.
Competitors
In industrial cider vinegar, the apples' sodium is destroyed and, consequently, the cider vinegar remains acid in the digestive system causing heartburns after usually three weeks of regular daily ingestion.
The positive effect of sodium in our product
- The sodium content of the original apples is preserved in the real cider vinegar and this sodium allows the acidity of the cider vinegar to become alkaline in the digestive system. To obtain the full therapeutic effects of real cider vinegar, 15 to 50 ml (one to four tablespoons) per day in one liter and a half of water are sufficient. No adverse side effects have been observed with our natural cider vinegar.
Competitors
The majority of cider vinegars found on the market are filtered, pasteurized and have an expiration date. Some even use sulphites as a preservative, which destroy useful bacteria and can be allergenic for many people. Amongst the most popular preservatives and additives used we find the potassium metabisulfate, the stabilizer E414 and the agents E222 and E224.
The authenticity of our product
- Our cider vinegar is not filtered, not pasteurized, without preservatives and additives. Real cider vinegars do not have an expiration date.
Competitors
The majority of industrial cider vinegars contain 5% or more of acetic acid. Some producers are using yeast to obtain this percentage because the production process is too quickly. Others producers are simply adding sugar or cereal alcohol in the apple juice before fermentation so as to get a very high level of acetic acid and thereafter by using water to dilute this cider vinegar obtained in order to be able to reach the 5% acetic acid mark.
The acetic acid of our product
- Our cider vinegar is naturally and slowly balanced at 4.5% (± 0.3%) acetic acid, which is what the body normally requires for a proper pH balance.
Competitors
Many cider vinegars are sold in plastic bottles rather than in glass bottles. The plastic container is harmful for the product since it decomposes under the action of the acidity from the cider vinegar, which then gets contaminated by transferring petroleum particles. Other cider vinegars are sold in opaque glass bottle to hide the mediocre quality of their products.
Indeed, some producers claim that a tinted bottle is used to protect or better preserve the cider vinegar from the rays of light, which is in fact a mistaken belief. Glass is a transparent medium and, by opposition to opaque objects, light will penetrate it, whatever the color. Only one small part is reflected by its surface. For example, a green bottle will absorb all the spectrum of colors but it will reflect one of the 150 tints of green, which precisely gives the green color of the bottle as perceived by our eyes! Consequently, the protection obtained by the colored bottle is very insignificant. Whatever the color of the bottle, light will penetrate it whether the bottle is dark, green or transparent. No type of glass bottle can completely neutralize the ray of light.
The preservation
- We are using transparent glass bottles in order to see the living quality of the mother vinegar, which is normally of a whitish color. The best way to preserve the cider vinegar is to store it in a dark place (like in a kitchen cupboard), which will keep active, over the long term, its numerous properties. One should note that the mother vinegar is edible and is an extraordinary source of enzymes, vitamins and minerals.
Competitors
Industrial cider vinegars are appropriate for preserves and as domestic cleaning/disinfectant product. These cider vinegars remain acid in your stomach and, therefore, are not recommended for your diet.
The benefits from our product
- There are at least 300 internal human system function improvements due to an authentically artisanal cider vinegar. The most recognized ones are: toxins cleansing, uric acid and bad cholesterol reduction, elimination of calcareous deposits (kidney, liver stones and joints), kidney and liver cleansing, blood cleansing (improvement of blood pressure), favors pH balance and a better digestive process, to name a few. Authentic cider vinegar is also used externally in cases, for instance, of minor burns, eczema, psoriasis, and to treat dandruff. Unfortunately, many people take these cider vinegars as a "fat cells trapper" for weight loss due to the action of the acetic acid. In fact, it is imprudent to blindly follow the recommendation of these misleading advertisements that promote these industrial cider vinegars for essentially losing weight. In reality, these persons will end up with significant heartburns in a relatively short period of time.
Our vinegar for weight loss
- Our artisanal cider vinegar, rich in enzymes and minerals, along with a healthy dietary regime and an adequate physical exercises program, can play an important role in a reducing treatment. Nevertheless, it is essential that any weight loss program be under the close supervision of your physician.

For cider vinegars say organic produced using an industrial type process the term organic usually refers to unfiltered and non-pasteurized products rather than the use of organic apples in special vats. Competitors
Very few competitors are producing cider vinegar in tablets and, to our knowledge, there is no company producing an artisanal cider vinegar in capsule. These tablets available on the marketplace contain essentially acetic acids due to the type of drying process used (hot), the use of industrial cider vinegar or, even worse, the use of plain ordinary table vinegar.
The origin of our capsules
- Our capsules are derived from our natural cider vinegar in liquid form and, consequently, they contain all the therapeutic properties and nutritional values of our original natural cider vinegar.
Competitors
To obtain the tablet, these companies are using a dehydration (or hot-drying) process. This pulverizing process implies heating, which destroys the main nutritional elements (enzymes, vitamins and minerals) of the cider vinegar.
The production of the powder
- To obtain our cider vinegar in powder form, we are using a process called lyophilization (or freeze-drying). Lyophilization is a freeze-drying technique that does not alter or reduce the properties and values of our natural liquid product. Indeed, the mother vinegar, which is very rich in enzymes, is still alive in the capsules in a similar fashion as for the yeast used in the beer or bread fabrication.
Competitors
These cider vinegar companies do not mention the base used in the composition for obtaining the powder or tablet.
The nutritional value of our capsules
- To keep the nutritional values of our natural cider vinegar in liquid form at the time of lyophilization, an isolate is required. We are using a non-genetically modified and hypoallergenic hydrolyzate soy containing a large amount of proteins that enriches the capsules of cider vinegar. Soy also contains folic acids, which is good for preventing osteoporosis.
Competitors
The tablets have a strong vinegar odor as evidenced by their high acetic acid content.
The delicacy of our capsules
- The capsules have a slight soy odor and no vinegar odor is present. The soy taste of the capsules is perfect for those who do not like the acid taste of the natural cider vinegar in liquid form.

The authenticity of our product
- The use of the natural real handcrafted cider vinegar in liquid form and the lyophilization process make our capsules totally health safe. Our capsules do not contain any artificial preservative, color, corn, dairy products, gluten, starch or yeast.
Competitors
Consumers demand industrial cider vinegar tablets mainly for weight control purposes. They can be helpful to burn fat but only over a long-term use if there are no heartburns. One must not forget that these tablets contain only acetic acid without any therapeutic or nutritional properties. Publicity of cider vinegar tablets claiming a fantastic and miraculous result of 10 to 15 kg of weight loss in 30 days is simply false advertising and fraudulent. Many people will never lose weight and will unfortunately end up with health problems and acidosis.
